The Defrauding - 36 Ayats - makkah

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَيْلٌۭWoe لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَto those who give less١

विनाश है नाप-तौल में कमी करने वालों के लिए।

ٱلَّذِينَThose who إِذَاwhen ٱكْتَالُوا۟they take a measure عَلَىfrom ٱلنَّاسِthe people يَسْتَوْفُونَthey take in full٢

वे लोग कि जब लोगों से नापकर लेते हैं, तो पूरा लेते हैं।

وَإِذَاBut when كَالُوهُمْthey give by measure (to) them أَوor وَّزَنُوهُمْthey weigh (for) them يُخْسِرُونَthey give less٣

और जब उन्हें नापकर या तौलकर देते हैं, तो कम देते हैं।

أَلَاDo not يَظُنُّthink أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthose أَنَّهُمthat they مَّبْعُوثُونَ(will be) resurrected٤

क्या वे लोग विश्वास नहीं रखते कि वे (मरने के बाद) उठाए जाने वाले हैं?

لِيَوْمٍFor a Day عَظِيمٍۢGreat٥

एक बहुत बड़े दिन के लिए।

يَوْمَ(The) Day يَقُومُwill stand ٱلنَّاسُmankind لِرَبِّbefore (the) Lord ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds٦

जिस दिन लोग सर्व संसार के पालनहार के सामने खड़े होंगे।

كَلَّآNay إِنَّIndeed كِتَـٰبَ(the) record ٱلْفُجَّارِ(of) the wicked لَفِى(is) surely in سِجِّينٍۢSijjin٧

हरगिज़ नहीं, निःसंदेह दुराचारियों का कर्म-पत्र "सिज्जीन" में है।

وَمَآAnd what أَدْرَىٰكَcan make you know مَاwhat سِجِّينٌۭ(is) Sijjin٨

और तुम क्या जानो कि 'सिज्जीन' क्या है?

كِتَـٰبٌۭA book مَّرْقُومٌۭwritten٩

वह एक लिखित पुस्तक है।

وَيْلٌۭWoe يَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَto the deniers١٠

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों के लिए विनाश है।

ٱلَّذِينَThose who يُكَذِّبُونَdeny بِيَوْمِ(the) Day ٱلدِّينِ(of) the Judgment١١

जो बदले के दिन को झुठलाते हैं।

وَمَاAnd not يُكَذِّبُcan deny بِهِۦٓ[of] it إِلَّاexcept كُلُّevery مُعْتَدٍtransgressor أَثِيمٍsinful١٢

तथा उसे केवल वही झुठलाता है, जो सीमा का उल्लंघन करने वाला, बड़ा पापी है।

إِذَاWhen تُتْلَىٰare recited عَلَيْهِto him ءَايَـٰتُنَاOur Verses قَالَhe says أَسَـٰطِيرُStories ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former (people)١٣

जब उसके सामने हमारी आयतों को पढ़ा जाता है, तो कहता है : यह पहले लोगों की कहानियाँ हैं।

كَلَّا ۖNay بَلْ ۜBut رَانَ(the) stain has covered عَلَىٰ[over]قُلُوبِهِمtheir hearts مَّا(for) what كَانُوا۟they used to يَكْسِبُونَearn١٤

हरगिज़ नहीं, बल्कि जो कुछ वे कमाते थे, वह ज़ंग बनकर उनके दिलों पर छा गया है।

كَلَّآNay إِنَّهُمْIndeed, they عَنfrom رَّبِّهِمْtheir Lord يَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Day لَّمَحْجُوبُونَsurely will be partitioned١٥

हरगिज़ नहीं, निश्चय वे उस दिन अपने पालनहार (के दर्शन) से रोक दिए जाएँगे।

ثُمَّThen إِنَّهُمْindeed, they لَصَالُوا۟(surely) will burn ٱلْجَحِيمِ(in) the Hellfire١٦

फिर निःसंदेह वे अवश्य जहन्नम में प्रवेश करने वाले हैं।

ثُمَّThen يُقَالُit will be said هَـٰذَاThis ٱلَّذِى(is) what كُنتُمyou used to بِهِۦ[of it]تُكَذِّبُونَdeny١٧

फिर कहा जाएगा : यही है, जिसे तुम झुठलाया करते थे।

كَلَّآNay إِنَّIndeed كِتَـٰبَ(the) record ٱلْأَبْرَارِ(of) the righteous لَفِى(will be) surely in عِلِّيِّينَIlliyin١٨

हरगिज़ नहीं, निःसंदेह नेक लोगों का कर्म-पत्र निश्चय "इल्लिय्यीन" में है।

وَمَآAnd what أَدْرَىٰكَcan make you know مَاwhat عِلِّيُّونَ(is) Illiyun١٩

और तुम क्या जानो कि 'इल्लिय्यीन' क्या है?

كِتَـٰبٌۭA book مَّرْقُومٌۭwritten٢٠

वह एक लिखित पुस्तक है।

يَشْهَدُهُWitness it ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought near٢١

जिसके पास समीपवर्ती (फरिश्ते) उपस्थित रहते हैं।

إِنَّIndeed ٱلْأَبْرَارَthe righteous لَفِى(will be) surely in نَعِيمٍbliss٢٢

निःसंदेह नेक लोग बड़ी नेमत (आनंद) में होंगे।

عَلَىOn ٱلْأَرَآئِكِthrones يَنظُرُونَobserving٢٣

तख़्तों पर (बैठे) देख रहे होंगे।

تَعْرِفُYou will recognize فِىin وُجُوهِهِمْtheir faces نَضْرَةَ(the) radiance ٱلنَّعِيمِ(of) bliss٢٤

तुम उनके चेहरों पर नेमत की ताज़गी का आभास करोगे।

يُسْقَوْنَThey will be given to drink مِنof رَّحِيقٍۢa pure wine مَّخْتُومٍsealed٢٥

उन्हें मुहर लगी शुद्ध शराब पिलाई जाएगी।

خِتَـٰمُهُۥIts seal مِسْكٌۭ ۚ(will be of) musk وَفِىAnd for ذَٰلِكَthat فَلْيَتَنَافَسِlet aspire ٱلْمُتَنَـٰفِسُونَthe aspirers٢٦

उसकी मुहर कस्तूरी की होगी। अतः प्रतिस्पर्धा करने वालों को इसी (की प्राप्ति) के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा करना चाहिए।

وَمِزَاجُهُۥAnd its mixture مِن(is) of تَسْنِيمٍTasneem٢٧

उसमें 'तसनीम' की मिलावट होगी।

عَيْنًۭاA spring يَشْرَبُwill drink بِهَاfrom it ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought near٢٨

वह एक स्रोत है, जिससे समीपवर्ती लोग पिएँगे।

إِنَّIndeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who أَجْرَمُوا۟committed crimes كَانُوا۟used to مِنَat ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believed يَضْحَكُونَlaugh٢٩

निःसंदेह जो लोग अपराधी हैं, वे (दुनिया में) ईमान लाने वालों पर हँसा करते थे।

وَإِذَاAnd when مَرُّوا۟they passed بِهِمْby them يَتَغَامَزُونَthey winked at one another٣٠

और जब वे उनके पास से गुज़रते, तो आपस में आँखों से इशारे किया करते थे।

وَإِذَاAnd when ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟they returned إِلَىٰٓto أَهْلِهِمُtheir people ٱنقَلَبُوا۟they would return فَكِهِينَjesting٣١

और जब अपने घर वालों की ओर लौटते, तो (मोमिनों के परिहास का) आनंद लेते हुए लौटते थे।

وَإِذَاAnd when رَأَوْهُمْthey saw them قَالُوٓا۟they said إِنَّIndeed هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthese لَضَآلُّونَsurely have gone astray٣٢

और जब वे उन (मोमिनों) को देखते, तो कहते थे : निःसंदेह ये लोग निश्चय भटके हुए हैं।

وَمَآBut not أُرْسِلُوا۟they had been sent عَلَيْهِمْover them حَـٰفِظِينَ(as) guardians٣٣

हालाँकि वे उनपर निरीक्षक बनाकर नहीं भेजे गए थे।

فَٱلْيَوْمَSo today ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believed مِنَat ٱلْكُفَّارِthe disbelievers يَضْحَكُونَthey will laugh٣٤

तो आज वे लोग जो ईमान लाए, काफ़िरों पर हँस रहे हैं।

عَلَىOn ٱلْأَرَآئِكِthe thrones يَنظُرُونَobserving٣٥

तख़्तों पर बैठे देख रहे हैं।

هَلْHave (not)ثُوِّبَbeen rewarded ٱلْكُفَّارُthe disbelievers مَا(for) what كَانُوا۟they used to يَفْعَلُونَdo٣٦

क्या काफ़िरों को उसका बदला मिल गया, जो वे किया करते थे?
